About Chase
Dr. Chase Horton is an Alabama native who grew up in the town of Montevallo. After obtaining his Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion, he ventured to Atlanta, Georgia to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Life Chiropractic College (LCC). During this time, Dr. Horton was able to specialize in spinal and muscular dysfunction care in LCC’s Outpatient Clinic Pediatric Unit. Following graduation, Dr. Horton moved back to Alabama to join Birmingham’s Integrative Health Center of Alabama, specializing in nutrition and functional medicine. After completing over 200 post-doctoral hours, he earned a certification as one of the state’s few functional medicine practitioners. Today, Dr. Horton is known across the functional medicine and chiropractic community for his techniques in Type 2 Diabetes reversal, his treatment of pain and stress within the spine and musculoskeletal system and his focus on improving sports-related injuries in demographics ranging from children to high-level athletes to patients within our elderly community. When he’s not adjusting, balancing and eliminating stress and pain within his patients’ bodies, Dr. Horton enjoys adventuring alongside his Rottweiler, Henry, motorcycling, camping, working out, reading, archery, hunting and traveling… occasionally all at the same time.
